The Functional Genomics Center (FGC) is located in the Department of Biotecnology of University of Verona. Established in 2007 by Massimo Delledonne and Mario Pezzotti , the FGC operates in the area of transcriptomics analysis in plants, animals, bacteria. With the advent of Next Generation Sequencing Technologies, the FGC expanded its activities to genome assembly, genome resequencing and RNA-Seq analysis. This center is now dedicated to the development and use of the new tools that the genomic technologies are now offering to microbial, plant, animal and human biologists.
Important!: As of December of 2012 the Functional Genomics Lab is no longer offering services based on microarray platforms. If you are interested into microarray analysis applied to Grape transcriptomics please contact Prof. Mario Pezzotti.
